Austin photographer Everett Christopher has now earned multiple shortlisted images in every Boudoir Photography Awards competition since the international awards began in 2022
AUSTIN, Texas — September 4, 2026 — Sub Rosa Boudoir is proud to announce that eight photographs by Austin photographer Everett Christopher have been shortlisted in the 2025 Boudoir Photography Awards, continuing a remarkable four-year run of recognition in the international photography competition presented by Boudoir Inspiration.
The 2025 selections mark the fourth consecutive year that multiple images created by Everett have been shortlisted, spanning every edition of the Boudoir Photography Awards since the competition began in 2022.
Everett and Sub Rosa Boudoir have received multiple shortlist selections in 2022, 2023, 2024 and now 2025, establishing a sustained record of recognition for work spanning boudoir, fine-art nude and creative portrait photography.
“Having eight photographs shortlisted this year is an incredible honor, but what means even more to me is the consistency,” Everett said. “To have multiple images recognized every year since these awards began tells me that the work continues to resonate beyond an individual photograph or a single session. That’s something I’m extremely proud of.”
The Boudoir Photography Awards recognize outstanding work from photographers around the world. Entries are evaluated by an international judging panel on criteria including artistic merit, originality, subject, style and overall impact.
Shortlisted photographs receive official recognition from Boudoir Inspiration, are published in the competition’s annual awards book and are promoted through Boudoir Inspiration’s website and social channels.
For Everett, having eight different photographs selected in a single year is particularly meaningful because each image represents a separate creative collaboration.
“Every photograph starts with trust,” Everett said. “The person in front of my camera is allowing me to interpret something personal through light, pose, expression and composition. The final image may carry my photographic style, but it exists because of that collaboration. These recognitions belong to the people who trusted me to create with them as much as they belong to me.”

The 2025 shortlist continues an uninterrupted series of Boudoir Photography Awards honors for Everett:

The four-year streak reflects the creative direction Everett has developed through Sub Rosa Boudoir—an approach that emphasizes sculptural lighting, intentional composition, expressive posing and an artistic interpretation of the human form.
Rather than approaching boudoir simply as a photographic genre, Everett views each session as an opportunity to create portrait artwork capable of standing independently of the experience in which it was created.
“My goal has always been to create photographs that have presence,” Everett said. “They can be dramatic or quiet, powerful or vulnerable, minimalist or intensely visual. What matters is that there is intention behind the image and that it makes you feel something.”
A Second Major Boudoir Inspiration Recognition in 2025
The eight shortlist selections follow another recent international recognition for Everett and Sub Rosa Boudoir.
Everett was also selected for inclusion in Boudoir Inspiration’s Best of Artistic Nude 2025 Issue, an annual collection featuring artistic nude photography selected from photographers around the world.
The honor recognized Everett’s distinctive use of light, composition and visual storytelling within fine-art portraiture and his approach to presenting the human form with dignity, emotion and artistic purpose.
